DE - Artist Edwin Lester is a self-taught visual artist from Philadelphia who has taken the art world by storm. His spiritual concept is unique and his art work conveys a message that is evident in every stroke. Edwin doesn't necessarily consider himself a spiritual or concept artist, he likes to paint images which are a part of his everyday life. God, love, simply living; striving to be the best he can at whatever he attempts to accomplish on any given day.

DC - Aaron Johnson, Board of Director (clothing)
President and Owner of Unitees, Inc., Aaron Johnson celebrates twenty-eight years of his custom Silk-Screen printing and embroidery company. Unitees fabricates an Afro-Centric line of fashion known in the industry as, “Native Tongue” and produces apparel for Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) nationwide. Mr. Johnson received his Bachelor of Arts from Howard University in 1987. While studying in his chosen field, English, he became an active student participating in a variety of activities and societies such as a student activist and community organizer.

The company is a full-scale retail operations of licensed apparel for Negro League Baseball, Buffalo Soldiers and Tuskegee Airmen including marketing, sales, PR, inventory management, operations management, event planning, budget and financial management and capital resource management. Plan, organize and lead BLACK retail operations at 45+ special events yearly to include professional conferences, jazz and cultural festivals and sporting events as well as retail displays in VA hospitals and military bases. Administer annual operating and capital budgets to generate $250,000 in sales revenue annually. Kimberly received her Bachelor of Business Administration from Shaw University in 1993.

The gallery was originally named Salstubro, named after Mr. McClean’s sons; Saliem, Stuart Jr., and Brockton more popularly known as Chase. Mr. McClean, a native of Trinidad, is an accomplished artist and fashion designer known mostly for his Caribbean influenced “Feel Good Art”!
